Commodity Chart - Heating Oil Futures: Long Term Chart

Heating Oil Analysis - June 29, 2006

Heating Oil Futures - The Heating Oil Long-Term Chart shows an amazing move from a historical perspective. Many of the normal events that move Heating Oil, such as extremely cold winters, were not the culprit in this move. The factors that affect Crude Oil are affecting Heating Oil. The Hurricanes and huge demand around the world from China and India are also responsible for the high price of Heating Oil.

Outlook on Heating Oil Futures: Have we moved into a new range for Heating Oil or is this an extreme price spike that will revert back to the norm? Tough question, but I would have to guess prices will fall over the next few years. Remember the news looks the best for prices at the highest point and during that time, everyone always says its different this time. Producer will start gearing up for winter production around October. The Gulf War, production this Fall and Winter Weather will all play a part in Heating Oil prices later this year.
