Commodity Chart - Soybean Futures: Long Term Chart

Soybean Analysis - June 29, 2006

Soybean Futures - Soybeans are one of the few commodities on the lower end of its historic price range. It is a bit of a stretch to say soyeans are at an extreme low right now. They are currently trading around 6.00. Normally, if soybeans fall below $5.00 that is a good time to look for a buying opportunity. However, if we are in a bull market for commodities overall, this may be the next to move higher.

Outlook on Soybean Futures: It is not easy to get very bullish on Soybeans now. The price is relatively cheap on a historic basis. There may be some volatility this summer if weather decides to play a part. Look for a catalyst such as bad weather or increased demand to get this market moving.
